Chess Masters in Jail: Gunsberg

Chess Master Gunsberg arrested. A telegram from Berlin, the 9th of this month: One of the participants in the chess tournament in Petersburg, Gunsberg, was placed under arrest. Gunsberg was on his way back to England, where he lives. The arrest was due to his passport, which, however, had been cleared up by the English authorities in Petersburg, even before Gunsberg’s departure. He has already spent three days in jail.
